Me either and I assure you I have yet to photograph that family! If you’re thinking, “Hey Kati, I just want a few photos of us smiling at the camera...” then it’s quite possible I am not the girl for you and guess what? That is totally okay! If you’re wondering why the heck not, it is because I am here to tell your family’s story: as a crew, as a unit, in this season of life. Of course we’ll grab some smiling family photos but that is just the start! You will belly laugh, tickle fights will ensue, and you’ll get a little out of breath (okay, maybe a lot!). I was a camp counselor and babysitter for over ten years so interacting with and entertaining children is my specialty, and one of the things I love most about family photo shoots. If I’m being totally honest, I probably know more kids songs than they do! Little Einsteins theme song anyone?

The Experience
You’ll receive a minimum of 65 edited images in your own private gallery to download and print within 2 weeks of our photo shoot!
Location scouting: Location can play a big part in your family story and we’ll work together to choose the perfect spot for your shoot.
Outfit planning: If choosing outfits for everyone in your family is something that makes you so nervous you want to postpone family photos until infinity, then I’m the girl for you! I can help you choose looks that will make everyone feel great and that will photograph beautifully together!

Kati Best is literally the "BEST"! She always seems to capture the most perfect moments. Even with children not cooperating at times, she somehow gets photos of us all laughing and smiling!
